I am doing Wolf Crawl this year and was so excited to read your take on it. I’m enjoying Wolf Hall so far (just a few chapters in) but now I’m looking forward to continuing to Bring Up the Bodies!

I participated in the Mantel trio slow read last year as well. You are spot on with your comments, Gabby. I loved reading everyone’s thoughts. These posts along with Simon’s background information and insights added so much to the reading experience. I have just started reading The Siege of Krishnapur, the first of Footnotes and Tangents new stream of four slow reads. I am looking forward to another slow read year.

It really did! I am happy that more people found so much joy in it - I hope this year brings you as much joy as last year did:)

My slow read for this year is Don Quixote. If I finish early I’ll find something by Tolstoy!

I thoroughly enjoyed the W&P slow read this year, and am looking forward to the Mantel trilogy this year- I’ve read them before but can’t really remember them so can’t wait to get fully immersed!
